Jesus is the Way Prison Ministry was founded in 1977,by Reverend Jesse E. Mathes. We became a 501(C) 3 organization in 1984.
Our mission is to reach the lost souls in prison, and that's what God is sending us to do! As we reach out to inmates along with our volunteer chaplain teams, we see first hand how the gospel of Jesus Christ changes men's hearts.
The picture above is our outreach center, this building houses the kitchen for the aftercare residents and soon to be our new offices. Below is the building that houses the aftercare residents' rooms and our current office are located on the ground floor. We are located in Rantoul, IL. a small community halfway between Chicago, and St. Louis.
